Here is a dead-simple recipe for mango popsicles, with just three ingredients: mango, water, and lime juice! If you’re feeling sassy and like the contrast of salty and sweet and mango with more lime. In Mexico / in any city with a population of Latinx people, you’ll see street vendors selling fresh fruit, and more often than not, the fresh fruit is served with some salty seasonings on top. I *love* the combination of mango and Tajin — Tajin is a seasoning that is spicy and limey and salty. This mango popsicle plays off of the flavors of fresh mango with Tajin sold from street vendors.
I saw one of my Instagram friends post a picture of mango paletas and it inspired me to think about if they would be good with Tajin on top. It’s a dead simple recipe – just three ingredients!
All you do is peel and chop the mango, blend in a high-speed blender with water and lime juice, and freeze in a popsicle mold.
Freeze for at least 6 hours (overnight is easier) and then enjoy!
